The Ministry of energy of Kazakhstan held a round table on the theme: "issues on implementation of the action Plan for the transition of Kazakhstan to "green economy".
The round table was attended by representatives of state bodies of Astana city administration, experts of the program of development of United Nations (UNDP) and several NGOs involved in the implementation and support of transition of Kazakhstan to "green economy".

"Green economy" is an economy with a high level of quality of life of the population and rational use of natural resources for present and future generations and in accordance with the country's international environmental commitments
Representatives of UNDP presented the model of integrated "green" indicator of the standard of living of the population for regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main goals and objectives of the comprehensive plan:
the creation of a model of integrated "green" indicator of the standard of living of the population for regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the basis of indicators of green growth, Organization for economic cooperation and development (hereinafter - OECD), socio-economic and environmental conditions of the regions of Kazakhstan;
Development of a model system of gradations (differentiations) of the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the degree of environmental safely.
The round table adopted Recommendations, under which Central government and local Executive bodies are recommended to determine inside the Agency responsible for the compilation of information of individuals to secure implementation of activities for the office concerned in accordance with their competence and the key directions of the concept.
The Agency for civil service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan proposed to include in the program to increase civil servants courses on "green economy".
