Ethnic migration

For the 2nd quarter of 2017 to the Republic arrived and received the status of repatriates 410 2 families or 4 455 ethnic Kazakh.

The majority of repatriates was 47.1% came from Uzbekistan, 40.3 per cent are immigrants from China, 3,8% – from Turkmenistan, 2,4% – from Mongolia, to 2.4% from Russia and 4% from other countries (number of people).

The greatest number of repatriates settled in Almaty – 1 014 (1 737 people), SKO - 521 households (868 people), Astana – 215 families (316 people), Zhambyl – 121 families (177 people), Mangystau – 93 families (516 people), EKO – 84 families (178 people), Almaty – 70 families (99 people), Akmolinskoj – 60 families (83 people), Pavlodar – 53 families (108 people), Karaganda – 49 families (86 people), Kostanay – 41 families (89 people), Atyrau – 32 families (59 people), NKO – 31 families (59 persons), West Kazakhstan region - 13 families (20 people), Aktobe – 9 families (50 people) and Kyzylorda regions – 4 families (10 people).

Persons of working age account for 67%, younger than working – 27.4% and pensioners of 5.6%.

From among the repatriates of working age by educational level of 12.6% have a higher education, 22.8% of secondary special education, 55,2 % of the total secondary education, and 9.4% have no education.

For the first half of 2017 in the Republic arrived and received the status of repatriates 5,000 families or 9 290 ethnic Kazakh.

Most oralmans is 50.9% of the profits from the Republic of Uzbekistan, 36.8 per cent are immigrants from China, 4.2% were from Turkmenistan, 2,1% – from Mongolia, to 2.1% from Russia and 3.9% – from other countries.

The greatest number of repatriates settled in Almaty – 1 967 families (3 468 people), SKO - 1 245 families (1 981 persons), Astana – 399 families (574 people), Zhambyl – 312 families (475 people), Mangystau – 239 households (1, 244 people), EKO – 209 families (405 people), Almaty – 118 families (174 persons), Karaganda – 113 families (190 people), Akmolinskoj – 112 families (173 people), Kostanay – 67 families (130 people), Atyrau – 59 families (99 people), Pavlodar – 56 families (114 people), NKO – 52 families (87 persons) WKO 24 families (37 people), Aktobe – 21 families (124) and Kyzylorda regions – 7 families (15 people).

Persons of working age total 67,1%, younger than working – 26,9% and pensioners – 6%.

From among the repatriates of working age by level of education, 11.5% have a higher education, 24.4% of secondary education, 55.3% to General secondary education, 8.8 per cent have no education.
