Since 2010 the number of treated patients with application of high technologies increased 5 times in Kazakhstan. "At the same time, in a connection with widespread introduction of technologies since 2014 30 high specialized care (HSMC) were converted into category of specialized care.
HSMC is medical care extended by medical organizations to citizens during diseases requiring particularly complex diagnostic and treatment techniques, as well as use of unique medical technologies.
Introduction of the Unified national health system had been contributing since 2010 to active development of high technologies in all regions, which allowed providing availability of HSMC for villagers.
10690 people received the services of HSMC in 2010, 2011 – 34706, in 2012 – 41747, in 2013 - 54454, in 2014 - 46391 and in 2015 – 55975 patients.
In addition, in the recent years integrated measures are taken in the republic on development of domestic transplantology, which allows increasing the transplantation amount from year to year.
If in 2010 in total 2 technologies were introduced, in 2011 - 4, in 2012 - 7, since 2015 - 10. These are operations for heart, liver, left ventricular assistance device, renal and pancreas, bone marrow transplantation. The citizens of our country could receive such medical services earlier only abroad.
The first heart transplantation in Kazakhstan was made in 2012 and in 2015 have been already conducted 20 such operations. In 2012 was transplanted liver of 6 patients, in 2015 – 51. Kidneys are transplanted most of all: in 2010 – 9, in 2015 - 204. The bone marrow was transplanted in 2010 to 1 patient and in 2015 – 44.
Development of unique technologies in dynamics shows today one can transplant all internal organs in Kazakhstan. For it has powerful staff, intellectual, scientific and resource potential, good physical infrastructure is created.
