Today Kazakhstan Minister of Healthcare and Social development Tamara Duisenova attended the medical-social institution for old men and disabled people of Astana where she congratulated the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the workers of the home front on the coming Victory Day.
"The day on May 9, 1945 is matched forever with heroic chronicle of our country. Thanks to your intransigence and courage, as well as thanks to selfless labor this Victory was had. In our memory there will always be names of those who lost their lives for freedom of native land. After war you directed all your efforts at reconstruction and the further development of the country, your combat and labor feats are serving as example for the slightly grown generation," Tamara Duisenova said, speaking at the solemn rally "Uly jeniske myn tagzym!" devoted to Victory in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War 71st anniversary celebration.
Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the "Nur Otan" party and veteran organizations took part in the event. In the course of rally solemn march of rank of soldiers of military unit 83205, Republic state establishment «Republic school «Zhas Ulan» named after general Nurmagambetov S. K”, students of L.N. Gumuliyev Eurasian National University were in front of the war veterans and workers of the home front.
The minister together with veterans of the Great Patriotic War and workers of the home front took part in planting of transplants to territories of institution, as well as visited a festive concert.
For the ending of the meeting Tamara Duisenova wished the veterans health and many years of life, as well as presented commemorative gifts.
At present in the medical-social institution for old men and disabled people of Astana live 304 people, including, 4 participants of the Great Patriotic War, 16 individuals equated with them, 34 workers of the home front.
We remind, that on the threshold of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 71st anniversary celebration plans of events on rendering of measures of support for veterans and their honoring are implemented by the local executive bodies. For rendering to veterans of one-time financial aid 2,6 bln. tenge are provided in local budgets for 2016.
