Today in Astana began its work III European school of radiology "ESOR Astana Tutorial", organized on the initiative of the European society of radiology.
The purpose of the European school of radiology is the training of young radiologists of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to the international standards of radiological diagnostics of socially significant diseases (diseases of the heart and blood vessels, pulmonary tuberculosis, breast cancer, diseases of the musculoskeletal system) and radiation safety.
Within two weeks, participants of "ESOR Astana Tutorial 2015" will listen to lectures by well-known experts in the field of radiology from Greece, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia and Kazakhstan, including Director of the European school of radiology, Professor Nicholas Gourtsoyiannis, the President of the Russian Association of radiologists, Professor Valentin Sinitsyn, President of Kazakhstan radiological society, Professor Raushan Rakhimzhanova and etc.
III European school of radiology «ESOR Astana Tutorial» will contribute to the development of diagnostic services in the countries of Central Asia.
The event will continue until June 17.

In Kazakhstan has launched the Festival of health
Today in Kazakhstan, with organizational and methodological support of the National centre for problems of healthy lifestyle started the Festival of health under the motto "We are for healthy lifestyle!". Its main aim is to draw public attention to the joint responsibility for maintaining and strengthening personal health by increasing physical activity, observance of a balanced diet, avoiding harmful habits and the formation of health-saving skills.
In the framework of the Festival of health in organizations of primary medical-sanitary assistance will be held days of open doors; in places of mass congestion of people will be deployed "health of towns" with the organization of free consultations, therapists, pediatricians, General practitioners, endocrinologists, pulmonologists at various aspects of healthy lifestyle; scheduled sports events, flash mobs and competitions on the theme "We value the health" among adolescents and young adults.
Events held in the framework of the health Festival will contribute to the normalization of immune system, reduction of incidence of respiratory, infectious, cardiovascular diseases, increase life expectancy, work productivity, improve overall health.
The health festival will end on June 11 at 11 o'clock by Astana time, holding simultaneously the "Marathon of health" with the participation of population of the Republic.
