Today in Aktobe a forum of public health workers in the area of "Cluster medicine, public-private partnership. Development of international relations. A new agenda for regional public health service" was held, with the participation of heads of medical institutions of countries near and far abroad, representatives of the World Health Organization and the World Bank.
Speaking at the forum, Executive Secretary of MHSD RK Aida Kurmangaliyeva reported that in the framework of the State Program for Health Development of the RK "Densaulyk" for 2016-2019 years will continue to improve and develop health infrastructure.
"Work is underway to develop a common long-term plan of development of health infrastructure in the context of regions and levels of care. In addition, within the framework of the State program "Densaulyk" further development of health infrastructure through the use of public-private partnership mechanisms is planned. As part of the Plan of the nation - 100 concrete steps development of private medicine, the introduction of corporate governance, promotion of privatization of public health organizations is provided. Attracting private investments to the construction and renovation of health facilities will help to improve the quality of life of the population", - she said.
In the framework of this forum the concept of establishing a regional medical cluster in the Aktobe agglomeration in the years 2016-2020 for providing the residents of Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions with high-quality medical services was presented.
In order to do this on the basis of regional clinical hospital, Regional Children's Hospital, the regional consultative and diagnostic center and medical center of West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after M. Ospanov a multidisciplinary hospital «Aktobe medical center» with 813-bed, a part of which will include obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, cardiology, surgery, oncology, laboratory and rehabilitation centers is planned to be created.
To ensure the transfer of advanced medical technologies a partnership agreement with the world-class hospitals was signed. Some of the partners will be the Gangnam Severance Hospital (South Korea), Hemogens Health Care (Turkey), University of St. Louis (USA).
During the event, the director of the hospital "Sincheon Severance" (Seoul, South Korea), Lee Byung Sok shared his experience of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of transfer of modern medical technology. The representative of the Turkish company "Turkuaz" Abdrahman Kavundzhu presented the project "Public-private partnerships at the international level", in the framework of which the organization of joint work as part of the modernization of services of emergency medical care was proposed. The head of the Russian group of companies called "Phoenix" Evgeniy Friedman presented to the participants of the forum his experience of creating inpatient ambulance «Emergency Department».
At the end of the forum the ceremony of signing the Memorandum on the concept of creating regional medical cluster between Akimat of Aktobe region and the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the RK took place.
