May 26 was held the first meeting of the Public Council on issues of socio-labor sphere of the Ministry of labour and social protection of population of the RK (hereinafter – the MLSPP RK) with participation of the head of the Ministry Tamara Duissenova.
Opening the meeting, the Minister noted that with the beginning of work of the Public Council of the Ministry's activities will become even more open and transparent to the population. "Our Department has always built its work on the principles of social protection of the population attracted to development decisions active representatives of civil society. Joint activities with the Public Council helped to ensure the transparency and openness of the Government and akimats. In connection with the recent reorganization of our Ministry established and the work of the new Public Council on issues of socio-labor sphere", - she said.
A member of the Public Council included the Executive Secretary of the MLSPP RK, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry and subordinated organizations and NGO.
The Chairman of the Public Council under MLSPP elected Gul'nara Zhumagel'dieva- Deputy Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, members of the Public Council were invited to form two commissions in key areas of activities of the Ministry of labour and social protection.
Chairman of the Commission for labour was elected Nikolay Radostovets Executive Director Republican Association of mining and metallurgical enterprises. The Commission on social security headed by Aslan Karzhaubaev.
There were elected members of the Presidium of the Public Council of the MLSPP RK.
During the meeting, members of the Public Council discussed the work plan for 2017 and reviewed the draft 10-year legal acts developed by the Ministry.
Recall that in November 2015 the Law "On Public councils". The tasks of the community councils is to represent the interests of civil society and the consideration of public opinion during the discussion and decision-making at national and local levels; development of interaction of Central and local Executive bodies and local self-government with civil society; organization of public control and transparency of Central and local Executive bodies and local self-government.
