Today in Astana under the chairmanship of the State Secretary of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova held a meeting of the National Commission for women Affairs and family-demographic policy under the President of Kazakhstan the Ministry of labor and social protection of the population.
The meeting discussed the question of the complex of the state measures to support families, motherhood and childhood and families with children with disabilities. According to the Minister of labor and social protection of population of RK Tamara Duissenova, Kazakhstan has built a national model of support for families with children, represented by a system of state allowances and payments aimed at stimulating the birth rate and facilitating the education of children in the family, increasing the credibility of many mothers, the support of children with disabilities and their families, as well as low-income families.
On behalf of the Head of state since 1 July this year dimensions a lump sum on the birth of a child will be increased by 20%. In addition, from 1 January 2018 will be revised subsistence minimum. This will increase to 3 million citizens, the size of the basic pensions, benefits for disabled people, families, survivors, targeted assistance and allowances for raising disabled children.
