What is a compulsory social insurance and who is subject to compulsory social insurance?

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On obligatory social insurance" compulsory social insurance - a set of measures, organized, controlled and guaranteed by the state to offset part of income due to disability and (or) loss of a job, as well as the loss of a breadwinner, loss of income due pregnancy and childbirth, adoption (adoption) of the newborn child (children), and child care reaches the age of one year;

Compulsory social insurance to be employees, self-employed persons, including foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and engaged in income-generating activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except for persons who have reached retirement age under paragraph 1 of Article 11 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On pension provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
