Today in Astana hosted the seventh meeting of the Kazakh-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.
The event was attended by Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madina Abylkasymova population - co-chairman of the Kazakh part of, as well as co-chairman of the Mongolian part - Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia Sodnomyn Chinzorig, representatives of the central state bodies of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
During the meeting the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of economics, business, health, environment, tourism, as well as in the field of pensions, economic and trade cooperation, investment, agriculture, transport, energy and natural resources, education and science, health and social welfare , culture, environmental protection and others.
"We welcome the initiative of the Mongolian side on the resumption of the bilateral cooperation in the field of pensions, and starting in the current year, the process of preparation by the parties of the project an appropriate intergovernmental agreement," - said in his opening speech, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan Madina Abylkasymova.
After the official opening of the meeting, there was a meeting of the IGC on to discuss issues expert level Agenda and finalizing the draft Protocol on the priority areas, as well as a number of bilateral meetings.
In particular, the meeting of the Deputy Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Arystan Kabikenova with a delegation of the Mongolian People's Republic, headed by the Minister of mining and heavy industry Dolgorsurenom Sumiyaabazarom on the development of bilateral relations in the fields of civil aviation and mineral resources.
The parties signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of mineral resources, the purpose of which - creating a solid foundation for the development of bilateral relations in the Geology and Subsoil Use. Under the Memorandum the parties will exchange information, experience, technology and training of highly qualified personnel in the field of mining.
The sides also discussed the exchange of experience in the processing of precious metals, namely, exploring the process to the refinery "Tau-Ken Altyn".
Reached an agreement to strengthen cooperation in the investigation and prevention of accidents involving civil aircraft between the competent authorities of both countries.
Within the framework of the Memorandum "On Mutual Understanding between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Bureau of Investigation of Mongolia accidents the Ministry of Investment and Development in the field of investigation and prevention of accidents with civil aircraft," the parties intend to develop cooperation in the field of accident investigation, exchange of information and experience in accordance with the standards and recommended practices of Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
Following the meeting of the Kazakh-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission signed a protocol of intergovernmental Kazakh-Mongolian commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.
At the same time, the parties agreed to hold the next 8th meeting of the Commission in 2020 in the city of Ulan Bator.
