The Vice-Minister also talked about the annual "Paryz" Prize, which is being conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2008. According to Altayev, this is not only a prestigious award, but also an incentive for successful implementation of projects and programs of socially responsible business. Over the time of the contest participants were more than 4,5 thousand enterprises of small, medium and large businesses.
"More than 150 thousand new jobs were created by the winners and participants of Paryz. 135.5 billion tenge was allocated for social projects, sponsorship and charity. 63.7 billion KZT were allocated for the construction, reconstruction, modernization and maintenance of gas treatment plants and treatment plants for water. Costs of enterprises for landscaping and landscaping of regions and cities amounted to KZT36.3 bn. In addition, about 300 thousand trees have been planted by laureates and contestants, "the vice minister said.
According to Altayev, the business sector plays a big role in the development of the country: The social responsibility of business is not just words. We say - "build a prosperous state", "improve the welfare of citizens", "introduce high living standards," etc. But, often, work on all this is perceived only as a prerogative of the state. This is not true. This can be achieved only if the whole country works together.
