The waste of electronic and electrical equipment contains such dangerous substances and compounds as cadmium, antimony, lead, mercury, which have a negative impact not only on the environment, but also on human health. Once in the human body, they stay there for a long time and begin to accumulate gradually in the liver, kidneys, bones, thyroid gland and can cause cancer.
Also in laser printers, toners are installed in a chemical composition that includes: compounds of carbon polymers, iron oxide, tin of organic compounds and inorganic additives, which studies show that cause headache, cough, fever, malaise.
In addition, when one finger battery is "incorrectly" recycled, 20 cubic meters of soil are poisoned or more than 400 liters of drinking water.

Users of electronic and electrical equipment that has become unusable are prohibited from throwing it out to the collection point for unsorted municipal waste, i.e. in the garbage containers.
To reduce the possible negative impact on the environment and human health, due to the content of harmful substances in the electrical and electronic equipment, it is necessary to use the available waste collection points for electronic and electrical equipment for the recycling and processing of waste products produced by this equipment.
