March 29 this year. the 7th meeting of the Kazakh-Mongolian intergovernmental commission (hereinafter - the IPC) for trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was held in Astana.
The next meeting of the IPC is organized under the chairmanship of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.E. Abylkasymova and co-chairmanship of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia S. Chinzorig.
The Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D. Sumyaabazar and representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Road and Transport Development, Fair Competition and Consumer Protection, the free trade zone Tsagaanuur and the Bayan-Ulgiy aimak took part in the meeting as part of the Mongolian delegation.
During the IGC, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in trade and economy, investment, entrepreneurship, transport, industry and subsoil use, agriculture, environmental protection, culture and sports, education and science, health, labor and social protection of the population, development of contractual and legal base and others.
Following the results of this event, the co-chairs of the IPC signed the Minutes of the meeting.
At the same time, during the IPC:
• Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia on cooperation in the mining sector;
• Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Office of Emergency Rescue and Search for Accidents in the field of preventing accidents in civilian military vessels;
• Memorandum between the Ministry of National Economy and the Office of Fair Competition and Consumer Protection of Mongolia on cooperation in the field of competition policy.
The agreement on the transfer of convicted persons between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
