A bilateral meeting of the Ministers of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madina Abylkasymova and the Azerbaijani Republic Sahil Babayev took place within the framework of the regional conference on women in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed topical issues on cooperation and exchange of experience in employment, social security, rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, etc.
As M.E. Abylkasymova, taking into account the global processes of digitalization occurring in the world, promising areas of cooperation in the social sphere are the creation of an electronic labor exchange and the automation of the recording of employment contracts.
"To date, Kazakhstan continues to modernize the pension and social insurance systems to ensure that those categories of the population that remain outside these systems are protected. Taking into account changes in the labor market, it is important to take into account new employment formats and, accordingly, to work out new, more flexible formats for involving these people in the state social security systems. In this regard, the exchange of experience between our countries will be a useful and significant step in the way of these reforms, "said Minister M. Abylkasymova.
Minister S.Babayev stressed the importance of concluding a joint memorandum on mutual cooperation, where the main directions for cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of labor and social relations will be determined.
"Our countries have much to learn from each other. At the same time, behind all social services in the modern world should be automation. This will reduce the impact of the human factor on the provision of these services and, accordingly, make the process of their provision more transparent and effective, "the head of the foreign department stressed.
In addition, the Azerbaijani Minister of Labor noted interest in Kazakhstan's experience in employment. To date, Azerbaijan is working on the employment portal. In this regard, as S. Babayev noted, the exchange of experience with the Kazakh side will be an opportunity to increase the effectiveness of the work being carried out.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan expressed his hope for an early visit of his Kazakh colleagues to Azerbaijan for concluding a bilateral Memorandum.
