According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the framework of the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017–2021, “Enbek” as of October 1 of this year, 19,823 people were sent to the VET organization. This measure is aimed at ensuring the first profession of school graduates who have not enrolled in educational institutions.
In addition, program participants are given the opportunity to acquire an additional specialty (profession) in the framework of short-term courses based on colleges and training centers of NPP Atameken. This opportunity was used by 38,407 people (it was planned to train 37,249 people, execution amounted to 103% of the annual plan).
The key indicator of the Program is employment after completion of training.
In the republic as a whole, out of 27.7 thousand who completed short-term vocational training, 57% or 15.7 thousand people are employed.
