On Tuesday, April 9, at the meeting of the Government of RK, Minister of labor and social protection of population Berdibek Saparbayev informed about social projects in the framework of the implementation of the initiative of Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk".
According to him, this year the local executive bodies will allocate 83 billion KZT for the provision of social support measures for 821 thousand people. Since the beginning of the year, assistance has already been provided to 282 thousand people in the amount of 9.3 billion KZT. In addition, in 2019 it is planned to create 373 thousand new jobs, 31.9 thousand jobs have already been created.
Housing for large and low-income families is also an important issue. So, every year at the expense of the state budget it is planned the construction of 6 thousand apartments rental, 6 thousand through the preferential loans of Zhilstroisberbank. In total, 58 thousand apartments will be built by 2025 for a total of more than 500 billion KZT, including 12 thousand apartments in 2019.
"The state provides significant support to business development in our country. In turn, the business community is able to provide support in solving social issues", B. Saparbayev said.
Minister gave positive examples of social initiatives of business in the regions. Thus, in Mangystau region, a social project "Business in three days" is being implemented, which contributes to the opening of mini-production at home. Currently, the project provided assistance to 70 families in opening a small business in Zhanaozen, involved in the employment of more than 140 people.
In Aktobe region on the project "Mother – entrepreneur" mothers with many children at the expense of sponsorship funds are taught the basics of business, the development of business plans with grants. In the first quarter of 2019, 25 women were assisted in the implementation of their own business projects, such as training, preparation of business plans, provision of grants.
An electronic portal "Meyirim" was launched in Shymkent, which is aimed at organizing social assistance to low-income families through an electronic portal. Currently, 500 families are registered in the database, including 147 large families. Already in the 1st quarter of 2019, within the framework of this Project, one house for a large family was provided and 173 families were given cash assistance in the amount of 12 million KZT.
In Nur-Sultan 200 low-income and large families will receive housing, 50 of them – until the end of this year. In addition, the akimat will issue housing certificates to 2 thousand people for a total of 2 billion KZT.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister G. Abdykalikova noted that the results of the visits of the Government working group to explain the new social measures of Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk" show that the population, heads of large enterprises, business structures and trade unions actively support the new social measures of Elbasy. The initiative impulse of business in questions of social support of the workers and local population is noted.
