From 1 July 2011 been launched the Employment Program 2020, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 31 March 2011 № 316 which aims at increasing incomes by promoting sustainable and productive employment.

CURRENT SITUATION IN social and labor sphere.

According to solidarity pension system:

In regions of the country more than 40.1 thousand people visited career fair, among them share of the unemployed made up 61%, i.e. 24.4 thousand people, share of the self-employed – 23% or 9.3 thousand people.

5206 employers provided 31275 vacancies, 10127 people have been referred to and 7953 of them or 78.5% have been employed.

517 educational institutions took part in the fair and concluded 1013 contracts and assigned 1505 people to training, 632 of them or 42% were referred to professional preparation.

The first direction is aimed at ensuring sustainable and productive employment through the development of labor potential to promote employment in the community.

Terms of citizen participation in the Program and providing state support will be provided in the Rules of organization and financing of education, promoting self-employment, the unemployed and poor population.

Promote the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas from 01.01.2013 to 26.02.2013

Stimulating entrepreneurship aimed at increasing economic activity of citizens through their own business.

Learning and employment assistance to the self-employed, unemployed, underemployed employees and poor population

This direction provides for measures to enhance labor mobility by facilitating the voluntary relocation citizens of of the Republic of Kazakhstan from localities with low economic potential in the centers of economic growth.

Priority right to participate in the third direction of the Program will be rural youth.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “About national registers of identification numbers”, individual identification numbers – IIN are introduced from 1 January 2013. Each citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall have IIN. IIN is applied for all operations of individuals such as:

-          registration of acts of a civil status;

-          issue of identification documents;

-          state registration of movable and immovable property;

Parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan to live up to the OSCE standards

WASHINGTON, DC. August 15. KAZINFORM. On May 16 President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced major Constitutional reforms aimed to strengthen the role of Parliament, and fresh parliamentary elections. In his statement, he reiterated the basic philosophy which has underpinned the development of the country’s fledgling democracy, namely “the economy first, then politics”.
